You probably know this but Clark’s, in the central library, do very good fluffies. Heh...speaking of late night cafe mooching, remember sitting in the window of Midnight watching those guys run in and out of the strip joint? I like their sweet food. Coffee is kind of meh though. It’s really a bit of a coffee desert in that area. The very idea of superheated fluffies is awful. The whole point is that they’re for very small children, for crying out loud. People who make scalding fluffies generally seem to think that because all they spoon into the cup is fluff (another sign of a bad fluffy, in Ada’s opinion -- they’re much more satisfying when they are half fluff and half milk), they’ll be coolish. No concept at all that the scalding hot milk that’s part of the fluff they spoon runs down through the foam to the bottom of the cup. Morons. Bubbles pop. That’s what they do. |
