A little cron, a little imagemagick, a little bash/perl/whatever, you could print out a wallet pic of the day every morning. Yes, but that doesn’t necessarily achieve the portable library of traditional wallet photos I was aiming at. How about a Treo? Fails the flexibility test very badly (just ask Stephen) but excels at the ‘portable library of traditional wallet photos’ criterion. A cellphone with a half-decent screen would be a decent fallback. As far as the Treo goes, well, call me picky, but there’s a limit to the size of the plastic tumour I want to attach to the side of my head. |
